Hindi sentences full of English terms. Caption every Short without paying per minute.
Your audience reads Hinglish in Roman letters, so your captions should too. Offline Captions writes Hindi-English speech in Roman script, times every word for the Reels-style highlight, and never uploads your video. No minute caps, no 30-day plans.
Founding price, once. ₹1,999 after launch.
An 18-second clip from an IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorial in Hindi, transcribed by our Hinglish mode with local models on an ordinary CPU (no GPU) and rendered as-is.
Reveal: words appear as they're spoken.
What the engine wrote (Hinglish mode, offline):
"Spoken tutorial kya hai? Yah ek computer session ki recording hai jo running commentary ke saath kisi software ko samajhaata hai. Parinaami movie spoken tutorial hai. Vishishth roop se das minute lamba. Spoken tutorials banaane ke lie steps."
Yellow words are ones the app flags for a quick check (here: words it couldn't time exactly). English words stay in English; Hindi words come out in Roman letters.

Checked October 2026 on AIVideoCaption pricing, AIVideoCaption features and AI Subtitle Generator. CapCut's status in India as reported by The Economic Times. AIVideoCaption prices include 18% GST as shown on its checkout (checked Oct 2026). Plans last 30 days and don't auto-renew, so this assumes you buy one every month. The founding price equals about four months of the Creator plan.
Open Offline Captions, choose Hinglish mode, drop in your video and export. It writes Hindi-English speech in Roman script, the way people type on WhatsApp (for example "Usko gaali de do, complaint kar lo"), times every word for the highlight animation, and burns the captions into an MP4. It also gives you an SRT file. Everything runs offline on your laptop.
Yes. Offline Captions is a one-time purchase with no minute caps, because transcription runs on your own computer. The founding price for India is ₹1,499 once. For comparison, AIVideoCaption's Creator plan is ₹299 + GST for 30 days with 60 export minutes (checked Oct 2026).
CapCut has been blocked in India since 2020, as reported by The Economic Times. Creators in India use other apps for auto captions; Offline Captions is a desktop option that runs on your laptop without uploading your videos.
Hinglish is harder than English. On 10 real code-mixed creator and podcast clips, about 22–24% of words differed from the reference transcript in our test, and part of that is spelling variation between Roman and Devanagari. Expect to fix a few words per clip. Words the app could not time precisely are flagged in yellow, and the personal dictionary remembers your corrections.
Not yet. Hinglish in Roman script and English are available. Hindi in Devanagari and other Indian languages are coming, and we will list each one when it is ready.
Not yet. Shorts Studio is a planned add-on that turns a long video or podcast into ready Shorts on your own computer: it cuts silences and retakes, shortlists 8–15 clips for you to pick from, crops to vertical around whoever is speaking, and keeps your captions in sync. The planned price is ₹2,499 once with captions included, with an upgrade price for Offline Captions owners. It isn't for sale and nothing ships today. Join the Shorts Studio waitlist and we'll email you once if we build it.
