Who we are

Buying a license

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Prices are shown on our pricing section and at checkout, including any sales tax or VAT Paddle collects. A purchase is a one-time payment for a perpetual license; there is no subscription and nothing renews.

What your license allows

• You may install and use the app on up to 2 of your own computers at a time. You can move a license by deactivating it on one computer and activating it on another.
• You may use it for personal and commercial work, including videos you publish or make for clients. You own the captions and videos you create.
• You may not resell, share or publish your license key, or try to bypass the license check.
• Updates released for the version you bought are included. If we ever release a new major version as a paid upgrade, the version you bought keeps working.

The free web version

The web version is free, runs in your browser, and has the limits shown on its page. We may change those limits or the web version at any time.

Your content

Your videos are processed on your own device. You are responsible for having the rights to the videos you caption and to any links you paste into the app. The app does not download from YouTube or social media sites.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See our refund policy.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to make the app accurate and reliable, but speech recognition makes mistakes, so review your captions before you publish. The software is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Third-party components

The app includes open-source software and speech models, used under their own licenses, which are listed in the app's About screen.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and changes do not reduce rights for purchases already made. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country.
