Hormozi-style captions: bold, big, word by word

"Hormozi-style" is shorthand for the caption look made famous by Alex Hormozi's short videos: a heavy condensed font, two to four words at a time, and the spoken word highlighted in a bright colour. It keeps eyes on screen when the sound is off. Here's what makes it work and how to make it in Offline Captions, which has it built in as the Bold style.

Three rules that make it work

1

Few words, big

Two to four words per line, centred in the lower-middle third, in a condensed heavy font (we use Anton).

2

Highlight the spoken word

The current word changes colour (yellow is classic) exactly when it's said. Timing matters more than the font.

3

No typos, no lag

A misspelled name or a word that lands late breaks the spell. Fix names once with a dictionary.

Make it in three steps

1

Add your clips

Drop one video or a whole folder into Offline Captions.

2

Choose "Bold"

Word-by-word highlight is on by default. Check the yellow-flagged words.

3

Export

Burned-in MP4 at your resolution, plus an SRT.

Prefer something calmer? The Clean style is lowercase and minimal; Punch pops each word; Reveal builds the sentence word by word. Compare all four.
